This massive project started with the production of 1948 Big Base Sport Scout 750cc cylinders and tall fin race heads, which mostly are being raced in Class C Hand Shift racing.

Now we have started on Chief cylinders and heads.

We currently have in stock:-

1935-1937 Chief cylinders

1938 Chief cylinders with correct casting numbers

1939 Chief cylinders with correct casting numbers

1948 Big Base Sport Scout cylinders

1948 Big Base Sport Scout tall fin race heads

1932-1936 cast iron Chief heads (straight and angle plug available)

All cylinders are precision CNC machined for exact measurements and alignment. Pattens were made by one of Australia’s best patten maker, made to replicate original cylinders made by Indian.

Our cylinders are vigorously tested on a regular basis through racing and inhouse testing, and recently a set of our Chief barrels completed the whole distance of the Australian Cannonball Run of 4500 kms.

All cylinders are proudly Australian made, and Indian Engineering are the only manufacturer of 1932-1939 chief cylinders in the world.
